Help us give confidence to young people

You can empower young people to understand they can be an integral part of something incredible. Everyone has a part to play now and in the rest of their lives.

 We need money! Your funding will ensure that the work of Show Up can continue. You can enable the workshop leader to travel to the schools each week and do work with the class. You can ensure the writing of scripts. You can fund kids designs being realised into actual costumes and sets that they see come to life. You can allow them to have full technical support for lights and sound on the day of the performance and learn alongside practitioners about that too.

You can make young people know that they are special enough to deserve being part of a great production. You can make their vision a reality and an experience they will never forget. An experience which will give them the confidence to live their best life.

Examples of where your money would go

£100 pays for a technician for the day of the production
£200 pays for pre-existing costumes to be borrowed for a production
£300 pays for sound and lighting equipment hire for the production
£500 pays for costume designs (by the children) to be fitted and handmade for cast members
£500 pays for building of a set design for the production
£1000 pays for workshops and script leading to the production usually a term's worth of work
